The main functions of the Brake Away System are as follows:
(1) The controller and speed control converter are used to control the motor from working in different states.
(2) The controller and the smash connection, so that the electric vehicle controls the output voltage of the turn-off the controller,
so that the electric vehicle stops the output torque because of power loss, and then performs mechanical braking.
(3) The controller has the current-limiting protection function. For some reason, when the current of the electric vehicle reaches or exceeds
the rated value, the current limiting protection circuit inside the controller output the current maximum current,but does not cut off the output
of the power pipe.
(4) The controller has the underpressure protection function. When the end voltage of the battery falls back to a specified voltage, the protection circuit inside the controller outputs the protection signal, cutting off the power supply circuit of the battery to the controller, and the protection battery does not supply power at ultra-low voltage.
(5) The controller has the function of preventing flying cars. After the power tube of the controller breaks down the short circuit, the voltage of the battery is added to both ends of the motor. The motor will run at high speed and is not controlled by the speed control. This phenomenon belongs to the
flying car. The function of the anti-speed circuit is to automatically cut off the power supply when the power pipe breaks, and the motor stops due
to the loss of voltage.
